I encountered this bug while using Fiesty. I recently installed Gutsy, and now it seems to have gotten worse. I was seeking in an mkv file using VLC and VLC locked up for a few seconds, and then the system halted without warning and the computer rebooted.
I am new at testing ubuntu, so I don't know where to look for kernel logs that might shed light on what happened internally. If such information would be helpful, could someone tell me where I ought to look? I have VLC package 0.8.6.release.c-0ubuntu5 installed. -- VLC crashes when seeking in a mkv file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/78103 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
