Public bug reported:
When in run level 7 if one tries to switch to say runlevel 6, and then
switch back to runlevel 7 for GUI, its switches back to blinking cursor
thats all.
NO GUI. This must be a bug in gdm3 as if you use lightdm you can switch
back and forth.
Currently running Ubuntu GNOME 17.10, with AMD APU, Radeon 7660 HD,
Asrock fm2a85x, and 16GB RAM. No unity related packages installed. The
bug affects with both xorg and wayland sessions.
