I managed to find a machine with RTS5129, which does not have this
issue.
Originally I think it's a good idea to bring rts5139 module back, but I
can't reproduce the issue on the RTS5129 I have.
Can you try 4.13-rc4? There are several fixes landed in mmc/core.
