This is a fresh installation on a freshly built system, so I can't say if a prior kernel did/would've worked. I've reinstalled twice from different downloads, and via different media and have encountered the same issues. I installed Windows 10 as well, and encountered no issues with performance or stability over the week/week and a half I had it installed, so I don't think it's hardware.
I'll install the upstream kernel and test again tonight. Thanks for helping. :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1706499 Title: NMI Watchdog Soft Lockup CPU Frozen for 22s To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1706499/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
