Thanks for the feedback. I get a much faster resume (almost like in
feisty or when using nv) after Suspend2RAM by changing only these values
in /etc/default/acpi-support:

SAVE_VBE_STATE=false
POST_VIDEO=false

The system suspends very quickly, with no problems. It resume also
fairly quickly. It's very reliable, It still hasn't failed to
suspend/resume in at least 5 tests I did.

Suspend2Disk works for me. It suspends quickly. Resume also works, it
looks like it's rebooting, but it recovers the session as it should.

Can you confirm?
