I am not really able to do this I have downloaded the mainline kernel packages and put them in a separate folder (within download folder). Then I do sudo dpkg -i *.deb, then I get error telling me no such file or directory. Do I point it at the folder somehow and if so how? Can you give me the actual terminal commands? I am sorry I am not much of an expert, in fact I am not much of a anything much, so need step by step!
