Public bug reported:
When I install Gutsy the computer keeps turning off by itself. I usually
reach about 94 to 96 % of the installation process and then it does turn
off.
I did not have any problem with Feisty so I did reinstall it and then I
upgraded from Feisty to Gutsy it did work but then in gutsy it still did
continue to turn off by itself.
Ive noticed nothing that could have produce this bug I was always doing
different stuff or doing nothing.
When I say it does turn off it does not follow the regular process to
turn off . The whole computer turn off and I have to restart nothing is
stop by gutsy.
The power seem to go alright with the computer. I have a light on my
computer that shows there is electricity going to the computer each time
it did turn off the light did not change. It always has been on.
Ive found someone that had the same problem on the ubuntu community
website but I dont see what my computer would have similar to this
person computer that would create such problem
