This is a fresh install. I just got a new Laptop and installed Ubuntu.
I installed the latest upstream kernel.
uname -a
Linux mlp-GL553VD 4.13.0-041300rc4-generic #201708062231 SMP Mon Aug 7 02:32:51
UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
It does fix the issue but not in it's entirety. Fn+F5/F6 is
working(Screen brightness) but Fn+F3/F4 is not working(keyboard
backlight).
Also, I could see that acpi_listen does generate events in this kernal
for Fn+F5/F6, while in the previous version there was nothing.
