I've tested this kernel and observed no regressions. Updated firmware has not been released to expose these IDs, so I can't directly test this. However, it turns out that there is a typo in the ACPI IDs that has since been fixed upstream, meaning the proposed patches are insufficient to solve the issue. One more patch is needed, and I've filed LP: #1711182 to track that.
I'll go ahead and mark this bug verified given the above caveat. ** Tags removed: verification-needed-zesty ** Tags added: verification-done-zesty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1708293 Title: support Hip07/08 I2C controller To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1708293/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
