Public bug reported:
Some packages are being removed from 17.10 archive, as libundead,
because it depends on package 'ldc' that is not enabled on
Ubuntu/ppc64el.
This package is available in Debian but, for any motivation, not on
Ubuntu.
On Debian unstable I see:
unstable ? ~ apt-cache madison ldc
ldc | 1:1.2.0-1 | http://ftp.debian.org/debian unstable/main ppc64el
Packages
ldc | 1:1.1.1-4 | http://ftp.debian.org/debian unstable/main Sources
ldc | 1:1.2.0-1 | http://ftp.debian.org/debian unstable/main Sources
On Ubuntu 17.10 I see:
artful ? ~ apt-cache madison ldc
ldc | 1:1.2.0-1 | http://ports.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-ports artful/universe
