This request was created for 16.04. LTS release.
On 16.04.02 , We do have lsvpd-1.7.6. and hence this patch is backported
on 1.7.6.
dpkg -l | grep lsvpd
ii lsvpd 1.7.6-0ubuntu3
ppc64el
For lsvpd-1.7.8, this patch is not required at all.
