*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 153889 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153889
The head of this report says it is marked as a "duplicate of bug
#153889", but I beg to differ.
The problem that I'm having is that I downloaded the Gutsy/7.10 release
ISO image, burned a CD, and then did a fresh install (no errors). My
first boot of the system showed that there was an update to the "tzdata"
package. After that was installed, Adept Manager reported that a new
version was available.
When I have it try the upgrade, it continues until the "Modifying the
software channels" where it works to 99%, then pops up an error screen
stating "Your system is up-to-date" and "There are no upgrades available
for your system. The upgrade will now be canceled." and it has two
buttons: Close and Report Bug.
It's not a major problem, but it caused me a bit of confusion thinking I
had grabbed an older 7.04 ISO.
