Public bug reported:

Hi

I am using Xubuntu 17.04 and I have noticed the .xsession-errors file is
gigantic. When opening it, I have noticed there are thousands of
messages like:

(wrapper-2.0:1778): Gtk-WARNING **: Allocating size to GtkImage
0x5599d3380420 without calling gtk_widget_get_preferred_width/height().
How does the code know the size to allocate?

When searching what the process 1778 is, it is the Indicator Plugin.

The indicators I have now are:
indicator-application
indicator-multiload
nm-applet
steam
indicator-messages
indicator-sound

Every time the image of one of them changes the message appears. As
indicator-multiload updates every second, the message appears, at least,
once per second. Consequently, the logs are getting enormous.

To be sure of this, I have closed indicator-multiload and closed nm-
applet: the messages stopped appearing, but once I changed the volume
they appeared again.
