Public bug reported:
Whilst using Aegisub to produce closed captions, I swapped to another
program to seek a translation for some text (I swapped into Firefox &
called up Google Translate).
When I returned to the Aegisub window to continue captioning, audio and
video played back at double speed, and I could find no obvious cause for
this.
I tried running Aegisub with GDB, performed the same procedure and GDB
caught nothing.
The fault stops if you close the current caption file, video and audio,
then reload it and start again. However, it immediately reoccurs if you
swap from it to any other window.

3) What you expected to happen: Video and audio to play at normal speed,
regardless of whether I swap windows or not.
4) What happened instead: Video and audio play at double speed if you
focus on any window other than Aegisub.
