I have an old Acer Aspire 5220, and after the harddisk died I decided to
install the Artful beta of Ubuntu MATE. Everything except the touchpad
works as before but the touchpad doesn't work, I had to plug in an
external USB mouse to use the system.
This worked with Ubuntu 17.04 which I was running before.
