Can't confirm here; mine just works as expected (wayland session)
Maybe you get a conflict with some other installed extension(s); try to isolate
the faulty one by enabling each one by one.
Other suggestion: clean the system with gtkorphan & bleachbit (as root, but
select the features carefully)
