Ubuntu better. I am wondering, did you read the error message?
unable to securely remove '/usr/share/doc/liblouis-
data/changelog.Debian.gz.dpkg-new': Read-only file system
Apparently with your fsck fixes you changed a part of the filesystem
into read-only. You can't expect this to work. (Well, technically there
is supposed to be a way to not get stuff in /usr/share/doc/ but that is
not by blocking writes to that file system).
Please reopen this bug if you think I judged this wrong, but please give
us more information what you expect us to do.
