I've a secondary screen connected, maybe that's of significance? I seem to need to give it a few seconds after the screens go off to reproduce. Certainly happens every time I actually walk away from the machine.
When the screen comes on, I can sometimes still see characters (dots) filling up the password field. If I wait before pressing Enter and count the dots, there's actually the correct number of dots, so the issue might be that of order rather than first key press not registering. If I wake the screen first using a mouse, all seems fine. Is there a way I can ask the lockscreen to log the typed-in password somewhere? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1715704 Title: Lockscreen doesn't register the first key press To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1715704/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
