For me, this is still broken in Xubuntu 17.10. I assumed it was long fixed in recent versions, so I never bothered to report it (or look for reports).
I haven't even set up my own Wallpapers yet, but going into the Desktop menu shows the infamous blue square surrounded by nothing. In my experience, this only happens after the Desktop has run for a while, not on a fresh boot. If I should run any commands to create debug information you need, please let me know. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1347087 Title: Xubuntu Desktop Settings no wallpaper choices shown To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/xfdesktop/+bug/1347087/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
