Your bug report includes the warning that:

If this were corrupt on our servers, we should see failures building all
images and packages for 17.10.  Since this is not the case, the most
likely explanation is either a one-time corruption at download time, or
corruption on some proxy in between the server and the machine you're
installing on.

Is this failure reproducible for you?
