Binary package hint: kdebase
kde applications turn öäå into a mess when used in Gnome and with a
different language.
The language I use in Gnome is dutch, the keyboard however is swedish. All
Gnome apps let me write the swedish characters ö ä å, but kde apps turn these
characters into ö À å.
If I switch language in Gnome to swedish, the characters will show as they are
supposed to in both gnome and kde applications.
