Public bug reported:
In past versions of Ubuntu, the XFCE sensors plugin worked. I just
upgraded to Artful 17.10 and it does not work anymore. The problem seems
to be that settings were lost and cannot be configured anymore. All I
see on the panel is the word "Sensors" in bold. Double clicking that
gives me a configuration dialog. My old settings are gone. I can change
settings in the dialog, but after I close and re-open the dialog I
always see the same settings, as if I made no changes. The weather
plugin also lost settings when I upgraded to Artful, but after I
configured it, the settings were remembered, even after a reboot.
