My two cents:
Same here with the difference that adept stopped upgrading and reported
problems with cupsys packages. I had to use synaptic package manager to
finish installing the rest of the packages prior downloaded by adept. I
seems, at least on the surface that, synaptic does a better job at
solving dependencies.
I still have the problem with adept prompting for system upgrade :-(
