I've installed a build of the latest git as of now (supposedly the current state of the 17.11 release) and the fix in the KDE upstream bug 362474 indeed fixed it in that Gwenview now remembers the last path used (which was the purpose of that report) and also doesn't show `<copyMoreOrLink>` as the default file name to copy, move or link to (as was the problem details in KDE upstream bug report 373629 that was marked as a duplicate of the above bug report).
Now instead it doesn't pre-fill the copy, move or link dialog with any file name - which is not a huge improvement. ** Also affects: gwenview via https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362474 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1468609 Title: Moving a file results in wrong pre-filled filename To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gwenview/+bug/1468609/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
