Daniel, yes the extensions that are part of GNOME Classic (and installed as part of gnome-shell-extensions) have the same problem.
Iain, I'm reopening the gnome-shell part of this bug since I believe this bug is actually in gnome-shell and not gnome-tweak-tool (see comment 2).
