I just upgraded my server from feisty to gutsy. Under feisty, mpd was
already installed, so it was upgraded to this version:

This version seems to have a problem the previous version didn't have. I have
mpd read files of a local disk, and I then use a shout output to send them to
an icecast server on the web. Once mpd starts playing, all is well, but you
have to try several times before mpd will succeed in making a connection to the
icecast server. It seems that I have to click play +- 3 times before it
succeeds (sometimes more, sometimes less, seems random). In the log file
/var/log/mpd/errors.log the following appears when a connection fails:

(attempt 4): No error

(filenames and servernames obfuscated)
As you can see, the problem occurs with both mp3 and ogg files.
