Maybe /dev/loop produce the "uuid installed twice" error above; not
sure, need a dev comment here.

About the libc6-dbg error:
- run into a terminal:
sudo apt-get install gtkorphan
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get autoclean
sudo apt-get autoremove

sudo gtkorphan
click on 'option', and set the last line to 'all'. If you get some package
listed after validation, then select them to be purged.

then try to reinstall the libc6-dbg package:
sudo apt-get install --reinstall libc6
sudo apt-get install --reinstall libc6-dbg
sudo apt-get install --reinstall libc6-dev

hopes then that error will be gone
