Public bug reported:

When installing from USB on a secondary SSD, with the bootloader set to
be installed alongside windows boot manager, GRUB installation failed.

Because I selected install directly from the USB key boot menu, I
haven't been given the opportunity to examine logs to determine if this
is a duplicate before submitting this.
