Good evening,
Does Ubuntu 7.10 take longer to boot then Vista? What do you mean by
"way too long to boot". If you are having problems where the splash
screen is not showing up, please edit the boot by selecting "e" when you
are prompted for what OS to use and then change "splash" to "nosplash"
and see if that solves the problem.
