>According to the apport information, you're running vivid (ubuntu15.04), the support for which was discontinued in January 2016. If youwant a stable system, please upgrade to the latest LTS version, 16.04. Thanks Olivier... I made a poor attempt at trying to do that HOPING THAT THE OPPORTUNITY TO UPDATE to 16.04 would (magically) appear as it did back when I originally updated to 16.04 a while ago. Since I saw no “invitation” to do that, so I resurrected an archived version of UBUNTU (15.04) with the intention of updating and updating and updating it until I reached the point where I HAD BEEN. But lacking the “invitation”, I gave up - as I don’t know how to proactively install it myself. Unless I get help or figure this out myself, my time with UBUNTU is finished as all of my VMWare clients no longer work!!! I wonder what happened? Thanks for your note,Danny Ruth
