** Changed in: compizconfig-settings-manager (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Confirmed
** Summary changed:
- Inconsistant Naming
+ Inconsistent Naming
** Description changed:
Binary package hint: compizconfig-settings-manager
The 0.5.2+git20070912-0ubuntu1 update renamed the menu item on the Gnome
preferences menu to "Advanced Desktop Effects Settings."
The titlebar for the application still says CompizConfig Settings
- Manager.
+ Manager. Since the effects are now referred to as "Visual Effects" in
+ System / Preferences / Appearance, both the menu item and the window
+ title should reflect this change.
In addition, there are a few references to the name 'compiz' in the
tool, such as in the short descriptions for General, Cube Reflection,
Crash Handler, Preferences and about.
