Unfortunately electron apps don't detect us as supporting indicators, as
they only rely on the current desktop instead that on the dbus
interface.

This workaround is coming:

But electron apps need to be recompiled in order to take advantage of it.
So please, report the issue to vendors.

A workaround is to run them with
  env XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Unity <app>
