Well, sadly synaptic has been quite deprecated since a while, and then
is not actively maintained (to be soft). Update-manager has been
prefered by Ubuntu (which is more eyecandy but less informative to my
POV).

That said, howto/wiki always recommend to use ppa-purge to deal with ppa 
removal/conflict.
So i've set 'incomplete' to let you know about that. You think that 
synaptic/apt might be the perfect IA apps, they are in many ways, but ppa's 
upgrades are not genuine packages per se and so synaptic cant be blamed when 
these ppa does not package their apps to communicate with it !!!

That it, set that report as 'invalid' as you now know the details.
