Not everyone wants to index filesystem, and when disabling tracker should not render Nautilus' search function completely useless.
This should be fixed, back to the old way: I go to /home/me/music/beatles in nautilus. I press ctrl+f to search, and type in submarine. The result should show files with "submarine" in the name, listing a few files in /home/me/music/beatles. -- Nautilus built-in search doesn't work if tracker is disabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150379 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
