No. I don't feel comfortable installing that patch. Firstly, because it is quite suspicious. Secondly, I will completely wipe out Windows from my machine in coming days, so even if the patch eventually works correctly - I think that without Windows the effect will most probably disappear. By the way, Google says that "touchpad works only after waking from suspend/hibernate" was not-so-rare problem in the recent past.
