Subject: Goddamn right
I second the making-healthier-choices route. Also, distracting yourself when
you feel like you want to binge helps, like going on reddit :)
I have binge eating problems as well, and I've had days where I've told myself
I'm going to eat something healthy and then go back to my bad habit. I get
fixated on how good this food will taste/make me feel, but I always feel
empty afterwards.
Try to think about how the triggering things you eat really make you feel
afterwards, not in the moment. In the moment, everything's great, until you
start feeling the pain of bingeing afterwards.
and then think about meals you've eaten where you feel perfectly fine
afterwards.
I know this is hard, but try to go for things that will make you truly
feel good, and won't hurt you. You're a good person, you don't need
to hurt yourself, you deserve better.
