Public bug reported:
The dock sometimes appears on the lock screen, and it is possible to
start a program from the lock screen without logging in when this
happens, although it is not possible to interact with it once it has
started.
I haven't reported it as a security vulnerability because it would take
an exception set of circumstances for that to be the case, but there is
the potential for a security issue when you can start a program without
logging in.
In the attached photo the icons are ghosted as well. I haven't actually
seen this behaviour since the photo was taken, so I assume a subsequent
update has fixed whatever was causing that.
Clearly I have used a photo because you can't take a screen grab,
although I am curious as to whether it would be possible to have a
screen grab app on the dock and use that to capture directly from the
screen!
