Geez... indeed. I can confirm that look with vte and gnome-terminal Ubuntu packages. It looks awful.
I'm using vte and gnome-terminal from git (the rest is stock 17.10). They don't have this visual problem, but the shrinkage is there. So probably it's irrelevant. Also, Ubuntu's vte & gnome-terminal packages look okay under Unity 7. Not sure by the way if it's something that's been fixed in vte/g-t since (I can't recall anything like that) or it's caused by an Ubuntu patch (that would be my primary guess). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1288655 Title: terminal gets smaller when maximized and then restored To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-terminal/+bug/1288655/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
