I used the gnome-control-center power manager to configure ubuntu to go
into suspended mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Then, when the computer (dell inspiron 15-7000 gaming) goes inactive for
15 minutes it downs into suspend mode. I set a swap of 16GB to ensure
that all the memory used could be stored and recovered without problems
in those situations ...

When I try to reactivate the notebook by pressing the touchpad or the
power button, a small and rapid change of brightness (a wink) occurs on
the display and then it remains dark ... the computer does not return
from the suspend mode.

I have to press the power button until the computer completely shuts off
before I can turn it on again.
