Public bug reported:
Said bootloader failed. I aborted the install and it warned me I would
possibly need to install a boot loader manually. I have no idea how to
do that. I had the Ubuntu 16 version sucessfully installed and I thought
I would install the new version. When I booted from the download disc of
17.10 it did not see my previously installed Ubuntu 16 which was okay as
I did that yesterday and I lost no data.
