Public bug reported:

I updated ubuntu gnome from 17.04 to 17.10, with gnome 3.26. I'm using
terminator

When doing alt-tab, the terminator icon doesn't show up, instead we see
a default icon with a question mark.

Moreover, we can't switch between windows of terminator as we can with
other applications (using alt - tilde).

I reported this bug in terminator bug tracker :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/terminator/+bug/1726525, and the author says
it's due to the package that removes the terminator.wrapper file
