Great idea, that way it works. So only the Test-Button is not working
the expected way.

However things are worse now: After enabeling xinerama-Mode via 
displayconfig-gkt there is a reproducible way to freeze my laptop:
Steps to make the freeze occur:
1) Start displayconfig-gtk with sudo -rights
2) Laptop freezes

So there is no way to deactivate xinerama (actually there is a way, I
have a backup of the original xorg.conf ...)

By the way: displayconfig-gtk shows the option to mirror the first
screen to the second screen grayed out. Whats the reason for this? Is
this due to the larger resolution of the main display compared to the
second display?

Is there a way to use DRI with xinerama for the savage driver? At the
moment it is disabled if I am in xinerama mode.
