Note that if you manually start the network manager service and then do `apt-get install -f` or `sudo dpkg-reconfigure network-manager-config- connectivity-ubuntu`, it appears to work. So something in the apt ordering is not starting network manager once it's been installed, so a `sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop^` call as per the wiki to emulate the tasksel task itself post-install of the system will fail only on that package.
This assumes of course one's starting from a barebones mini.iso installation, and hasn't done any custom configuration. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1726960 Title: Installation of network-manager-config-connectivity-ubuntu fails when installing ubuntu-desktop task from mini.iso To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1726960/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
