Public bug reported: Hi,
I used to pack the rust compiler into a snap (see https://github.com/hadmut/snap-rustc ), since ubuntu's rust packages are outdated. It worked as expected with 16.04 and 17.04, but after upgrading to 17.10 (freshly build the snap under 17.10) I get this error: % rustc /snap/rust/x2/usr/local/bin/rustc: relocation error: /snap/rust/x2/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdl.so.2: symbol _dl_catch_error, version GLIBC_PRIVATE not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference snap seems to mix new and old libraries that don't fit together.
