I have not been able to reproduce the ethernet problem for the whole day. Martin also has Windows 10 installed on his XPS 13, so he could try it there and if the problem still occurs it's very likely a hardware problem. The USB one doesn't seem like a hardware problem because I'm affected by that, too, after the last firmware update. Devices connected to the USB ports don't work at all or just for a short period of time after they're plugged in.
