Minas,

Idle power consumption seems a little higher than Windows 10. After
idling for 5 minutes on a full charge, the laptop reports temperatures <
50 degrees celsius, and a projected battery life of 3 hours and 25
minutes w/screen brightness of about 70%. This seems a little low, but
not unreasonable.

Admittedly, I don't pay attention much to my battery life on Windows 10,
but I can perform a similar test later this weekend for something to
compare to.

At idle, powertop reports (under Package):
C2 - ~20%
C7 - ~40%

All others at 0.

In conclusion, power consumption seems normal at idle.
