This package is really due for an upgraded version in the Ubuntu 16.04
repository because the search feature cannot update engines on the
version provided via the 16.04 repository.
The package in the 16.04 repository is 3.3.1-1, yet 3.3.16 is considered
stable stable by qbittorrent-team.
Workaround:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable ; sudo
apt update && sudo apt install qbittorrent
