Thanks for reporting.

I found a corresponding bug report in Debian, so I have attached a bug
watch. In the meantime python-dbus can be installed manually as a
workaround.

Based on the duplicate report, this is at least affecting Ubuntu 17.10,
but based on the report date for this one, it seems to have been present
for a while. When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by
using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. This adds
additional debug information and version numbers which makes it easier
to see which releases are affected or not. You can learn more about this
