No, I haven't yet reinstalled the operating system. It's VERY tempting, due to the accumulation of bugs over time that happens on a computer, but unfortunately I haven't had a chance to operate without my main computer for the 2 weeks that it takes to reinstall the operating system, applications, and configure everything again.
Yes, the last time I had this issue was yesterday. I don't know of any way to make Nautilus start functioning again other than rebooting the computer. Note that this particular bug is not common. ie. It doesn't occur every day. It happens every couple of weeks on average. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1705864 Title: Nautilus no longer starts (again) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1705864/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
