Can you explain in more detail about how the driver is failing to work?
Is it failing with a black screen? Or screen corruption? Or...?
Also, please attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log from after attempting to
start it up with "intel", so we can see how it is detecting things and
if there are error messages.
Please attach the output of `sudo lspci -vvnn` as well.
